The concert season usually consists of a holiday concert in December (presented jointly with the Ypsilanti Community Band); a spring concert in early May; and a performance during Ypsilanti's Heritage Festival in August. Specific concert dates appear below.

In addition the choir performs upon request at community events such as the Ypsilanti Festival of Lights, as well as for special audiences such as the residents of Gilbert Retirement Center in Ypsilanti. Availability of the group to sing for specific events will depend on the schedule of the choir members and prior commitments of the choir as a whole. Make plans now to join us for our 27th annual Spring Concert. Under the direction of Ariel Toews-Ricotta, the Ypsilanti Community Choir will present a variety of musical pieces, ranging from sacred to show tunes, from jazz to family favorites, from golden oldies to contemporary hits. We are happy to provide an enjoyable, family-friendly musical experience that can be enjoyed by all ages.

This concert is presented free of charge to the public (we will gladly accept contributions to help defray costs, of course).

Join us at the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival, our community's annual summer celebration. Held in Riverside Park along the Huron River, the Heritage Festival celebrates the rich historical significance of Ypsilanti while offering contemporary events and activities for today’s families and creating lasting memories. The Community Choir will sing an hour's worth of music which include highlights from our previous year's concerts as well as family favorites.

Continuing a tradition which dates back more than a quarter-century, the Ypsilanti Community Choir once again joins forces with the Ypsilanti Community Band to provide yet another festive evening of family holiday entertainment. The venue for this concert will be Eastern Michigan University's Historic Pease Auditorium, in the heart of Ypsilanti. In addition to each group performing seasonal selections, the band and choir combine forces at the conclusion of the program.
